Experience the perfect combination of traditional British craftsmanship, natural comfort and exceptional support with the Enchanted House Newchurch Divan Set & Headboard. Handmade in Devon, this beautifully crafted bed brings together carefully selected natural fillings, a responsive pocket spring system and a medium comfort feel to create a luxurious sleeping experience.
Designed for those who appreciate quality and attention to detail, the Newchurch offers a comfortable and supportive sleeping environment, making it an excellent choice for a restful night’s sleep.
Handmade in Devon
Expertly handmade in Devon by Enchanted House, the Newchurch reflects the quality and craftsmanship associated with traditional British bed making. Every element has been thoughtfully considered to deliver a bed that combines dependable support with luxurious comfort.
The mattress features traditional hand tufting, a technique that helps secure the internal fillings in place, maintaining an even distribution throughout the mattress. This contributes to its overall structure and provides a beautifully finished sleeping surface.
Naturally Comfortable Fillings
The Newchurch mattress features fully natural fillings, offering a wonderfully sumptuous and comfortable sleeping surface.
Natural fillings provide soft yet supportive cushioning while helping to create a more breathable sleeping environment. Their natural moisture-wicking properties can assist with temperature regulation, helping you stay comfortable throughout the night.
These carefully selected materials work together to deliver a luxurious feel while complementing the mattress’s supportive spring system.
Responsive Pocket Spring Support
At the heart of the Newchurch mattress is a pocket spring system, designed to provide individualised support as you sleep.
Each spring is housed within its own fabric pocket, allowing it to respond independently to your body’s movements and contours. This helps distribute weight evenly, supports pressure points and minimises motion transfer between sleeping partners.
Combined with a medium comfort feel, the pocket springs create an excellent balance between gentle cushioning and reassuring support, making the Newchurch ideal for those who prefer a mattress that feels neither too soft nor too firm.
Turnable for Lasting Comfort
The Newchurch features a traditional turnable mattress design, allowing both sleeping surfaces to receive regular use.
Turning and rotating the mattress as recommended helps distribute natural settlement more evenly throughout the fillings, supporting its comfort and performance over time.
Complete Divan Set & Headboard
The Enchanted House Newchurch comes complete with a matching divan base and headboard, providing a coordinated bedroom solution.
Combining traditional craftsmanship, fully natural fillings and responsive pocket spring support, this complete set offers an inviting combination of practicality, comfort and timeless appeal.
Available as part of the Prestige Beds clearance collection, the Newchurch is also offered with delivery in just 1–2 weeks, allowing you to enjoy beautifully handcrafted comfort without a lengthy wait.
